This Week’s Sermon: “And So It Begins”
Online Worship Begins at 11:00.
Psalm 118: 1-2, 19-29
Matthew 21: 1-11
“No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey you are welcome here.” At First UCC this is more than a catch phrase; it’s who we are. If you are just wondering about God and want to learn more you are welcome here. It you have been a believer your whole life, you are welcome here. If you have questions, you are welcome here. If you are young or old, or somewhere in the middle, you are welcome here. If you haven’t fit in anywhere else, you are welcome here! No matter who you are, you are welcome here!
We are a bunch of seekers on a journey. We learn together and we serve together. We believe that God is love and that all persons are created in God’s own image. We are people from all walks of life with varied life experiences doing our best to live out God’s love in the world. So truly “No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey you are welcome here.”
In order to prepare for Easter, it is Christian tradition to celebrate Lent. During Lent, believers typically fast, give something up, or commit to certain acts of kindness for 40 days.
